“Second time coming here, loved it the first time and had to bring my family! We orderded carne a la tampiqueña, chilaquiles, pipian verde, and quesadilla with huitlacoche. I got to try a bit of everything and had a hard time trying to pick a favorite!”

“The welcome was warm and friendly, making me feel right at home. The coffee was delicious, and having it with a warm concha was simply perfect! “I wish I would have taken pictures but trust me the was food looked beyond tasteful. The picaditas (sopes) were the best I’ve had in the states. The taste of the fresh masa combined with their earthy, vibrant salsa was superb. I had chilaquiles with chicken and my husband has the steak/cheese quesadillas. Both were full of flavor! Took us back to Mexico. The food was authentically prepared and served on clay plates as if I was in a villa in Mexico. 12/10 recommend!!!”

“This was an amazing experience. They have the best chilaquiles in town. Everything is meticulously cared for. The cleanliness is impeccable. Chef Diego welcomed us and provided service unlike anywhere else. We were invited to return with family and even for a business meeting. The chilaquiles are delicious and served in a very generous portion. We also had the tres leches cake, which was also very tasty. We completed our meal with a mimosa and a cappuccino. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food with genuine Mexican flavor, I highly recommend this restaurant.”

“I lived in Mexico as a kid and grew up on legit Mexican food. I get so tired of Tex-Mex and wanted the real deal. Discovered this place by accident and was excited to see they served cochinita pibil. Now I need to return to try the other menu options. If you want legit Mexican food, you need to try this little place out.”

“I am so glad i found this restaurant with authentic & delicious Mexican food! The fundido is not pictured but it was cheesy and yummy with fresh homemade tortillas! We shared the enmoladas and cochinitas and both were absolutely delicious! We enjoyed their tres leches and fried ice cream for dessert, both were great but fried ice cream was my favorite! This place is amazing i will definitely be back! Apparently they serve different types of mole at lunch as well, which is very exciting!!”

“Second time visiting Polanquito and it absolutely did not disappoint. I tried the Barbacoa this time—rich, flavorful, and very authentic, with every bite packed with great taste. I also had the Mole Chilaquiles with Milanesa, which were just as delicious, plus an iced horchata latte that paired perfectly with the meal. To top it all off, I ended with a sweet chocolate-filled croissant for dessert, which was the perfect sweet finish. If you’re looking for truly authentic Mexican food with bold, well-balanced flavors, this spot is definitely worth checking out.”
